File Specifications

Accepted File Formats
For the highest print quality and accuracy, we highly recommend submitting your files in PDF format. We also accept high-resolution JPG, TIFF, AI (Adobe Illustrator), and PSD (Adobe Photoshop) files.

Important: Please ensure all layers are flattened, transparency is flattened, and fonts are outlined/curved before saving.
Resolution & Quality (DPI)
All image files must have a minimum resolution of 300 DPI (Dots Per Inch) at the final print size.

Files with a resolution lower than 300 DPI (such as 72 DPI images used for the web) will result in pixelated, blurry, and low-quality prints. Upscaling a low-resolution image in Photoshop will not improve the print quality.
Color Mode: CMYK vs RGB
All artwork must be submitted in CMYK color mode.

RGB is the color mode for screens (monitors, phones), while CMYK is for ink on paper. If you submit files in RGB, our system will automatically convert them to CMYK, which may cause significant color shifts (neon colors may look duller). For accurate color reproduction, design your files in CMYK from the start.

Bleed, Trim & Safe Zones

Understanding Bleed, Trim, and Safety
To avoid thin white lines at the edge of your print, you must include a bleed.

Bleed Line
Extend background here (0.125" extra)
Trim Line
Where the paper is cut (Final Size)
Safe Zone
Keep text inside this line
Standard Requirement: Please add 0.125 inches (1/8") bleed to each side of your document. For example, a 4" x 6" postcard should be submitted as 4.25" x 6.25".
Borders & Safe Margins
Due to mechanical tolerances in cutting (cutting shift), we do not recommend using borders around the edge of your design. If a border is necessary, it should be at least 0.25 inches thick inside the trim line to ensure it looks symmetrical after cutting. Keep all critical text and logos at least 0.125" inside the trim line (Safe Zone).

Typography & Details

Fonts & Outlines
To prevent font substitution or missing font errors, please convert all text to Outlines (Illustrator/InDesign) or Shapes (Photoshop) before saving your final PDF. This ensures your typography prints exactly as you designed it.
Black vs Rich Black
For large black areas or backgrounds, use Rich Black values: C:60 M:40 Y:40 K:100. This creates a deep, dark black.
For small text and thin lines, use 100% K Black (C:0 M:0 Y:0 K:100) to ensure crisp, sharp text without registration issues.
